Cancer registration is an important and fundamental tool in cancer control.

A population-based cancer registry collects the data from many healthcare facilities in a defined geographic area and can serve to show incidence trends for cancer of different sites over time or between population subdivisions. It can provide data to assess the effects of different types of treatments over time and to evaluate the effects of early detection programs, such as mammography or colorectal screening.

The National Cancer Registrar’s Association and Kendall Hunt Publishing proudly introduce Cancer Registry Management: Principles and Practice.

Perfect as a resource for the CTR Exam and as a resource for NCRA-Accredited programs, Cancer Registry Management: Principles and Practice combines both the Cancer Registry Management: Principles and Practice with Central Cancer Registries: Design, Management and Use.

  • I'm taking the CTR program now and this book is a must have. It's very easy to follow and gives you all of the information you'll need.

  • All the illustrations are in black and white. I bought it to study for the CTR exam. I have skimmed through it and it looks to be shallow info. I don't think it will tell me much that I don't already have. Seems I wasted $189

  • good condition, pricey though

  • Book full of errors. They expect u to know already how they got certain calculations. Things are not on pages like they said in my syllabus.

  • Needed this for my certification test.

  • As advertised. No complaints.

  • Thankful that i was able to rent it
    Good book

  • Great book, well written, but it gets four stars because it is a textbook. So unless you are very interested in the subject matter, you will get bored. Contains a CD which is very helpful.
