  • Children and families fit neither Anne Harris nor Mitchell Dane's lives. Ann craves corporate success so she can meet her responsibilities. Mitchell desires freedom after over fulfilling his own responsibilities.
The owner of Anne's company, Bundles of Joy baby products, holds to old fashioned family values, believing happily married employees with children make responsible employees. With an eye to become the first female vice-president of the company, Anne resorts to her mother's suggestion of buying an fiancé through the Bachelor-in-a-Box agency. She didn't expect to find the photograph provided in her package so mesmerizing -- especially the bedroom eyes.
Soon Anne finds herself seeking the man behind the photograph in a desperate attempt to stave off confessing to her illusion. She convinces Mitchell to spend a weekend with her while she presents her "fiancé" to her boss. Mitchell, however, has his own ideas about desire, fantasies and love. Add an exotic treatment for sunburn, a red sarong and exotic flowers, and the seductive results tempt them both beyond limits. But the question remains as to the results of hot sultry nights in the cold light of morning.
Sandra Chastain presents a remarkably fun premise in BEDROOM EYES. Just the name, Bachelor in a Box, promises great fun, which Chastain delivers in full measure. And men who love children are irresistible, anyway. Add Chastain's talented pen, they the result is especially yummy. Smart, sexy, and enticing, these memorable characters will waltz right into your fantasies. Highly recommended.

The glass ceiling at Bundles of Joy baby products has nothing to do with being a female for Anne Harris. To become a vice president the corporation strongly affirms the credo that married with children is a good employee. For the single Anne, a spouse is not what she wants, but a temporary, make believe fiancé will do. She turns to the Bachelor-in-a-Box agency to provide her with all the vital statistics of her fiancé including a photo.
Annie figures the crisis is over until her boss insists on meeting the man in her life. To her surprise the model in the photo turns out to be Mitchell Dane, brother to the owner of the Bachelor-in-a-Box agency and not happy that his sibling uses his picture. Anne persuades Mitchell to pretend to be her fiancé, whom she will present to her boss. Mitchell, however, has his own ideas about desire, fantasies and love. However, Mitchell has plans of his own starring his "betrothed in his fantasy.
Skip the concept of an executive coming up with a make believe fiancé and readers will find a very amusing warm romantic romp that only the incomparable Sandra Chastain could make feel genuine. The characters are fun especially Annie who learns the lesson of how difficult it is to make a lie seem true. Ms. Chastain just proves that she is one of the best genre writers around with this humorous frolic.

  • This is the first book in this batch by Sandra Chastain- the hero here the world famous photographer gets sucked into helping out his sister's friend when she needs a husband.

See Bettina has a company that provides imaginary boyfriends and husbands for women who need to appear attached but don't want to be... and since her brother travels so much and is never in Atlanta she uses her brothers' pictures as the ones for her clients.

So when brother dearest is in town and Anne needs help==== he agrees and the hilarity, passion, fun and general goofy warm mushy stuff follows. This one is warm and fun- read the sequel Look But Don't Touch to see how the other brother gets set up by his sister!
